  • ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 11TH SEPTEMBER, 2021

Wed 18 Aug 2021 Peter Sloan

OHs are reminded that the Club's AGM will be held at 11.30am on 11th September at The Victoria Hotel, Sidmouth, prior to the West Country Lunch.

Due to COVID restrictions it was not possible to hold the AGM last year and so it is particularly important that as many OHs as possible attend the AGM this year.

A copy of the Agenda is produced below and the Income and Expenditure Account for 2020/21 can be viewed on the 'About Us' page under 'The Club's Annual Accounts'.

If you are unable to attend but wish to comment or raise an item please notify the Club Secretary (ohclub@thebirminghams.com) by no later than 3rd September.

  • OVER £7,000.00 RAISED BY THE HUMBLE POINTERS CHARITY HIKE

Sun 08 Aug 2021 Myf Adams

Well we did it and so far just over £7,000.00 raised for MacMillan Cancer Supportt!!

It was a long and hot day! But the aches and pains were far outweighed by the stunning views and the pleasure of sharing a common goal with old friends, and the camaraderie and fun of a 50-year friendship created a wonderful day we won't forget.

We can't thank our friends, families and fellow OHs enough for your support which has enabled us to smash and far exceed our original  £5000 target for Macmillan - thank you to all of you for your generosity and all your super messages.

A special thank you to Nigel and Sarah Clist for their generous hospitality in hosting The Humble Pointer over two nights and in particular to Sarah for following us in the support vehicle and providing refreshments and encouragement all along the way.
