  • UPDATE ON THE HUMBLE POINTERS CHARITY WALK - 22ND JULY,2021

Tue 06 Jul 2021 Myf Adams

Three weeks to go and training is becoming intense (!) with a recce expedition from the old school to Eype. An intrepid member of the Team is shown scaling the infamous West Face of Golden Cap. Dipper's place (that's the dog) on the expedition as 6th team member is now in doubt after her blatant display of reckless disregard for danger.

The Humble Pointers are aiming to raise £5,000.00 in sponsorship for MacMillan Cancer Support and so far, thanks to very generous support from OHs, friends and family, they have raised £3,642.00 (72% of their target). If you have not yet done so please do visit the Team's Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/myfanwy-adams3 and help them achieve that £5,000.00 target.

A free pint at Portesham at the end of the hike for correct identification of the backside featured in this daring summit attempt.
