Brian George Jenney OBE (V.48-54)

The Club regrets to announce the death of Brian Jenney on 2nd February. (Brother of Terence Jenney (V.51-56) and Nigel Jenney (V.53-58) 

Born on 28th October, 1935 Brian came to Allhallows in 1948. He gained an Entrance Exhibition in 1949 and an Open Scholarship in 1953. He was appointed House Head Commoner in 1952, a House Prefect in 1953 and a School Prefect later that same year. He was winner of the Governors' Middle English Prize and Senior Classics Prize in 1950, the Byrde Memorial Prize for Classics in 1951 and 1954. He was Vice Chairman of the Debating Society, a Member of the XX Club and Captain of the Chess Club. He won his 1st XV Colours  in 1952-53 and was Boxing Captain in 1953.  From Allhallows Brian went to Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.

The Club extends its condolences to Brian's family and friends.
