Peter G. Spencer (Staff 62-66)
News has reached the Club of the recent death of Peter Spencer - a Master at Allhallows from 1962-66 who taught French and English and who coached the school's 1st XI Cricket team, being himself a fine opening batsman and wicket-keeper.
Peter read Modern Languages at Cambridge and after leaving Allhallows became Headmaster of a number of preparatory schools, always sending boys to Allhallows when he could. He was the author of 'Three Shades of Green', a history of the first century of the Devon Dumplings Cricket Club.
