21ST MAY 1982 - 40 YEARS ON

21st May 2022 marks the 40th anniversary of the sinking of HMS Ardent in Falkland Sound during the Falkland Conflict.  Amongst those killed in action was Lt. Cdr Royal Navy Richard William Banfield OH (V.65-69). The Club pays tribute to Richard and those other members of the crew who lost their lives 40 years ago today for their bravery and sacrifice.
