2015 West Country Lunch
The West Country lunch on Saturday 16th May was held at the Dower House Hotel, Rousdon. The change of venue from the Belmont Hotel, Sidmouth where the lunch has been held for many years, was partly in recognition of the 500th Anniversary of the founding of Allhallows School.
The terrace tables with Robin Grey (St 54-58) and Margaret Vere
57 OHs and spouses filled the Dower House to capacity for an excellent buffet lunch on a bright and sunny day enabling some people to sit at tables on the terrace extending out from the dining room. It was good to see some OHs that have not attended the lunch before or, at least, not for many years, and many memories of experiences were exchanged of the Dower House when it was the Headmasters House in which nearly all new boys spent up to three terms before going on to senior houses.

By kind permission of the owners of the Rousdon Estate, a number of people walked down the drive to the Mansion after lunch, for some the first time that they had been back since leaving Allhallows.
